What do you want to achieve this year? What do you want to change this year? What do you want to experience this year?
Some of you have great plans. Some of you have no plans. Some of those who have great plans feel optimistic, others have a sense of foreboding when thinking of future events and circumstances. Interestingly enough, even those who have no plan can feel a sense of foreboding.
Where does this feeling of foreboding come from? I think it comes from the sameness we push forward year after year – the same attitudes, the same behaviors, the same circumstances. As we stay in this sameness, no positive change can happen. Are you tired of this? You can change it in a moment.
What you and others really, really want is quite simple – feeling good about yourself.
Simply feeling good about yourself. You can make this happen. In your inner talk, praise yourself, cheer yourself up, comfort yourself. Also, make others feel good about themselves by praising them, cheering them up, comforting them.
